The project involves the abatement and removal of PC-containing materials identified within the structure. Oscar’s Abatement LLC was contracted to perform the PCB abatement services in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and Connecticut state regulations.
The project scope includes the establishment of negative pressure containment areas and the implementation of proper personal protective equipment (PPE) to safely conduct the abatement work. PCB-containing materials are removed using controlled methods while ensuring proper labeling and handling in accordance with EPA and DOT regulatory requirements.
The primary goal of this project is the safe removal and disposal of PCB-containing materials while maintaining strict environmental and worker safety standards. All hazardous materials are transported to an approved EPA disposal facility, and decontamination procedures are performed using hot and cold water systems.
